Sanjay leads the Americas team dedicated to helping clients create, shape and manage the future of work by enhancing the performance of their workplaces, real estate portfolios and people. As part of a thriving global business supporting enterprise clients, his team across the U.S., Canada and Latin America innovates and delivers a full suite of products and services that blend human, digital and experiential elements to build, manage and improve spaces that transform how people work every day.

For 25 years, Sanjay has helped large, global businesses leverage technology to achieve their ambitions. He has deep expertise in complex businesses, transformational change and the development of disruptive technologies. Sanjay joined JLL in 2018 from IBM, where he ran the Cloud Consulting Services business. Prior to that, he was Chief Information Officer and Group Vice President of Strategic Planning for Johnson Controls Automotive. Sanjay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering, a Master of Science degree in management systems and a doctorate in management. He currently serves on the board of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. |
Mr. Breslau directs the overall activities of JLL’s Research & Strategy team globally. In addition, he is a member of the firm's Americas Executive Committee and chair of its Global Research Executive Board. Mr. Breslau is responsible for managing a team of 450 professional researchers analyzing commercial real estate at both macro and micro levels and across property types covering approximately 50 countries. He oversees the delivery of the firm’s leading research publications and services to investor, occupier, and institutional clients, and regularly presents the firm’s thought leadership and research insights at conferences. Mr. Breslau also plays a key strategic role for JLL advising firm leadership and leading initiatives in the areas of strategy, data, analytics, and innovation.
Mr. Breslau’s 20-year career in commercial real estate began in earnest after he earned an economics degree from Emory University in 1998. He took a chance starting as a temp at Spaulding and Slye, with big dreams of stepping into a role that engaged both his analytical mind and his love of people, communication and leadership. Mr. Breslau’s role today is a realization of his early aspirations. He leads the development of JLL’s research insights and forecasts, and translates what they mean to clients. He works with executives and investors directly, advising them on real estate market opportunities and business strategies. His role also involves innovation and building relationships that benefit JLL, such as the one he formed with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). As a result of his efforts, JLL became the Founding Industry Partner of MIT’s Real Estate Innovation Lab(REIL), which aims to understand and forecast innovation and technological change in the built environment. Mr. Breslau is a frequent expert speaker for many industry associations including the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and a member of the National Association of Business Economists (NABE). |
